WEAKLAND THOMAS B. March 24, 2008 Age 77 of Lake Orion. Beloved husband of Florence of 42 years. Dear father of Kevin of Auburn Hills, Susan(David) Proksch of Lake Orion and Megan(Paul) Girardin of Howell.Grandfather of Emily, Jeremy and Abigail Proksch. Brother of the late Eileen Weakland and Warren Weakland. Funeral Mass Friday 10 am at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church (2700 Waldon Rd.) Family will receive friends Wednesday 7-9pm at the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Thursday 3-5 & 7-9 pm at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. Prayer service Thursday 7:30 at church. Mr. Weakland was a member and an usher at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church; was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean Conflict. He volunteered for the Lake Orion Drama Club, High School Band, Coached girls softball and boys baseball and really was an avid sports fan. In lieu of flowers family wishes to have memorial contributions to Christ the Redeemer Building Fund or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Interment Square Lake Cemetery.
