Tony D. Adams; departed this life Sunday, October 30, 2011. He was 51 years old; a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a 45 year resident of Pontiac. He was employed by Associate & Community Services. Tony is survived by his mother Shirley Adams of Zachary, LA; son Trevon; daughter Ashley; brother Darvin (Virgie) Adams of Pontiac; grandmother Mamie Banford; and six uncles and five aunts. He was preceded in death by his father Nathaniel Adams. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Messiah Missionary Baptist Church, 15 Mark Street, Pontiac, Rev. S. Thompson, Pastor. Family Hour at 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of service. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, 46 Williams Street. Reflections may be shared at www.sparksgriffin.com.
