Trudy Kniess

Ingetraut “Trudy” Kniess; of Lake Orion; February 23, 2019; age 87. Trudy is the loving wife of 57 plus years, to Gary Kniess who preceded her death in 2014. She is also the loving mother of Craig (Lynne) Kniess and Heidi Andres; and loving grandmother of Amanda Andres, Casey Andres, Eric Kniess and Kaleena Kniess. Trudy was born and raised in Germany where she was trained in Bookkeeping before moving to New York to start a new life and fulfill her American Dream. She was avid reader collecting thousands of books over the years and also enjoyed gardening, crocheting and needlework. Most of all Trudy adored her family and loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed. No services are scheduled at this time.
