Vicenta Elida Mcallister

January 2, 1943 — April 6, 2010

Vicenta Elida McAllister; April 6, 2010; of Independence Twp.; age 67; beloved mother of Bobby (Regina), Claytus (Celena), China (Alex-Papito), Harold (Jen) and Josh (Lea); loving wife of the late Robert C. McAllister; and daughter of Estralla E. Bulvas-Gonzalez and the late Emetereo Gill. Vicenta is also survived by her nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; four brothers and 10 sisters. Vincenta was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church for many years and was the former Superintendent of Education for Pontiac Schools. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Damien of Molokai Parish, St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks- Griffin Funeral Home with Rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery.
