Viola E. Rohe

Viola E. Gerhard Rohe; formerly of Birmingham and Whispering Pines, NC; age 92; passed away April 30, 2017.  Viola is the beloved wife of the late E. William Gerhard and Vincent Rohe;  mother of Jo Ann (Tom) Patterson and Jane Reddig; grandmother of Bill (Jacque) Patterson, Katie (Brett) Langolf, Nicholas (Bre Anne) Reddig and Eric Reddig; great grandmother of Harper and Grady Patterson, Hadley and Charlotte Langolf, and Braddock and Aruna Reddig; and sister of Loretta Barbee.  Viola was a member of the Birmingham Athletic Club and Bloomfield Hills Country Club.  She retired in Whispering Pines, NC and was an avid bridge player.  Viola also loved to entertain friends and family and will be remembered as the "Hostess with the Mostess."  Private family services have been held.  Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Beaumont Hospice.
