Slocum, Viola Ruth June 29, 2010 Age 84 of Pontiac. Beloved wife of the late Earl. Dear mother of Gayle (Paul) Cox, Neal (Debra) Slocum, Perry (Deborah) Slocum, Becky (Bill) Bartlett and Carla (Brian) Dombrowski. Grandmother of 19 and the late Louis Slocum. Great-grandmother of 24. Sister of Ralph Ellsworth, Ward (Kaye) Ellsworth, Ellen Hague, Robert (Joyce) Ellsworth. Also survived by brother-in-law Wendell Jones. She was preceded in death by sister Virginia Jones and brothers Allen and William Ellsworth. Mrs. Slocum was a long standing member of the Church of Christ in Auburn Hills. Funeral service Friday 11 am at the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Wednesday 5-8 pm and Thursday 2-4 & 6-8pm. Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery.
