Virginia Louise Ignatowski

Virginia Louise Ignatowski; of Lake Orion; age 88; passed away on December 10, 2021.  Virginia is the beloved wife of Ernest Jerome Ignatowski for 64 years; loving mother of Ronald Jerome Ignatowski, Jeri (James) Elmer, Sharon (John) Messina and Julie Ignatowski; loving grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 9; and dear sister of Frances Chaney, Catherine Filmeck and Charles Miscovich; and special aunt to many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Josephine Miscovich, siblings Mildred Rucci, Lydia Berzack, Irene Warfield, Michael Miscovich, Robert Miscovich, Roseann Gismondi and Jacob Miscovich.  Virginia was devoted to her family, they were everything to her.  She was wonderful at cooking and baking and made sure to feed everyone!  She also enjoyed caring for all of the animals on the farm.  Virginia loved to sing and will be remembered for her beautiful singing voice.  She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone who knew her. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11am.  The family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 4-7pm with a Rosary service at 7pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Older Person's Commission Meals on Wheels Program would be greatly appreciated.
