MILLS, VIRGINIA J. of Pontiac, April 1, 2009 age 90.Preceeded in death by her husband Irwin "Bud", her son William "Bill", and grandson Terrance "T.J. Mills. Dear mother of Carolyn Mills of Lake Orion, John (Jeanne) of Flint, Terry (Gail) of Orion Twp., and Dennis (Phylis) of OR. Mother-in-Law of Barbara Mills of FL., and her long time companion Glendon Roberts. Loving Grandmother "Nanny" of 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.Mrs. Mills was a life member of Order of Eastern Star # 228 of Pontiac, and a long time member of the First Congregational Church of Pontiac. For the last two years she has been a loved and cared for resident of the Lake Orion Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.Funeral services Saturday 11:00 am. from the Lake Orion Chapel, Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home (248-693-8336). Internment Ottawa Park Cemetery. The Mills family will receive friends on Friday from 3 to 9 pm. at the funeral home.
