Alexander, W.C "Sonny", June 2, 2008; of Detroit; age 74. W.C. is the beloved husband of Doris; father of Cheryl (Fredrick) Williams; and step-father of Leon Minus. He is also survived by his sister Rosetta Franklin; aunt Estelle Marshall; brother-in-law Stephen Haynes; sister-in-law Deloris Robbins; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. W.C. was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Pontiac Motors after many years of service. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. from the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home with family hour from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Viewing will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery. To share a reflection with the family please visit www.sparksgriffin.com.
