Walter B. Mersino

Walter B. Mersino; of Lake Orion; age 68; June 24, 2016. Walter is the beloved husband of the late Althea; loving father of Jonathan Cramer, Kim (Craig) Hutchison, and Walter Bruce Jr.; dear grandfather of Glenn, Christopher, Timothy, Jessica, Walter III, Courtney and Randal; great grandfather of Timothy Jr., Mason, Addalynn and Easton; and brother of Duane (Diana) Mersino, Dean (Bev) Mersino, Vicki Mersino, Sherry Glover, Sue (Frank) Hayes and the late Gary Mersino.  Walter was a Vietnam Veteran and retired from the Oakland County Road Commission.  He was a member of the F.O.E. and loved working on cars.  Walter will always be remembered for being such a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 11am at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm and on Wednesday from 10am until the time of service.  Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Reflections may be shared by visiting www.sparksgriffin.com .
