Wanda Elaine Kline

Wanda Elaine Kline (Powell); of Hastings, Michigan; formerly of Thornville, Michigan; age 98; passed away on February 1, 2019. Wanda was born on July 11, 1920 in Freedom, Indiana.  On June 28, 1938 she married Robert Leroy Kline, who preceded her in death in 2007.  Mrs. Kline was a homemaker and a devoted wife and mother.  She attended Calvary Church in Wayland, Michigan.  Wanda is survived by her daughter Linda (Robert) Vanderbough; son Thomas (Marilyn) Kline of Wayland; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers Ted Powell and Stanley Powell; and sister Beatrice Thomas.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11am at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10am until the time of service.  Interment Square Lake Cemetery.  Memorials may be made in Wanda’s honor to Thornapple Manor, 2700 Nashville Road, Hastings, Michigan 49058.
