Wesley Carlson

Carlson, Wesley B.; of Lake Orion; age 84; passed away to be with the Lord on May 24, 2013. Beloved husband of Ruth for nearly 60 years. Born in Tustin, MI to Edgar and Anna, raised on a farm with sister Lorna (Oz) Ostrander. Served in both the US Coast Guard and Navy. Dear father of Steve(Geri), Jim(Sue), and Dave (Ronda); cherished grandfather of Wesley, Keaton and Shelby. Wes also leaves behind a host of dear family and friends. He worked as an Engineer at Chrysler for over 30 years, retiring in 1988. Wes and Ruth enjoyed traveling the world with family and friends. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Orion United Methodist Church, 140 E. Flint St., The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-8 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. Memorial contributions may be made to Lake Orion United Methodist Church or the Baldwin Center.
