Wilda Santiago

Wilda Santiago, age 60, of Pontiac, Michigan, passed away on August 2, 2026. She is the beloved wife of Pedro Santiago for 44 wonderful years; loving mother of Pedro Luis Santiago and Melanie (Damian) Alicea; adoring grandmother of Damian Elias and Ianelie Adli Alicea, Zephaniah Luis, Elena Marie, and Melana Alani Santiago. Wilda is also survived by her brothers, Luis F. (Sonia) Rodriguez and Samar (Lydia) Rodriguez; nieces and nephews, Eileen (Nelson) Ciuro, Samar Joel Rodriguez, Jacob Rodriguez, Joshua Rodriguez, Gianna Rodriguez, and Kayla (Sergio) Saco; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Wilda was someone her family could always count on to bring joy and laughter to any occasion. She was very big on spending time with her family, especially cooking for them. If anyone ever came to her and asked her to cook at an event for them, she would, even when she could no longer stand and was doing everything from her wheelchair. Although her jokes and cooking will be missed, our cherished memories with her will always live on.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Following services, the burial will take place at Perry Mount Park Cemetery in Pontiac, Michigan.
