Willadean Cox

Willadean Jackson Cox, better known as "Granny" was born on June 1, 1935 in the state of Tennessee. She transferred her citizenship to Heaven on January 27, 2017. Wife of the late Clayton Jackson (September 29, 1992) and the late Sterling Cox (June 19, 2006). Proceeded in death by her sons Morris Lynn Jackson "Marty" (January 4, 1999) and Robert Jackson "Robby" (August 3, 2014). Willadean is survived by her children Sheila (Richard) Luster, Jennifer (the late Jack) Whittie, Clayton (Linda) Jackson Jr., Theresa Day, Jeana (Tom) Rea, and Mark (Salina) Jackson; 24 wonderful grandchildren; 41 1/2 beautiful great grandchildren; and 3 1/2 precious great great grandchildren. Willadean was known for her cheerful laugh, warm heart and beautiful smile. She loved her family and friends with all her heart, but most of all she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and desired for all to know Him. Funeral Services will be held Friday February 3, 2017 at 11am Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, 46 Williams Street, Pontiac, Michigan 48341. Officiated by Pastor Tom Rea and Pastor Chris Blankenship. The family will receive friends from 10am until the time of service. Funeral Procession and Graveside ceremony will take place at 2pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, MI 48442.
