William Berkheiser Iii

William H. Berkheiser III; passed into glory Sunday, November 15, 2020. He was surrounded by his wife Nancy and his two children, Bill and Rebecca. William is survived by his wife Nancy of 53 years, two children Bill Berkheiser (wife, Shannon) and Rebecca (Berkheiser) VanDeusen (husband, Ryan). He had six grandchildren; Emily, Cole and Tristan (Bill and Shannon) and Caleb (wife, Sarah), Joshua and Jacob (Rebecca and Ryan). William is also survived by his brother Keith and his two sisters, Mary Ellen and Karin.

William was an active servant and member of First Baptist Church of Lake Orion for over 20 years. He worked in the automotive industry for over 40 years, working all over the United States and 3 continents. He was a proud veteran of the 82 ^nd Airborne. He was full of faith in Christ, loved his country and was characterized by his commitment to family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Lake Orion, 11am December 5, 2020. Friends will be received at 10am, an hour prior to the service. Pastor Juan Moreno will be officiating. William’s body will be laid to rest in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery at the family’s convenience.
