Reverend William F. Foster of Waterford, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on May 15, 2018. Reverend Foster was born in Saginaw, MI on May 23, 1942.
William grew up in Pontiac, MI where he met the love of his life who became his wife of 45 years. He was ordained at Bethel Tabernacle in 2000 and his ministry included American House, Calvary Missionary Church, various hospitals throughout Oakland County, and any opportunity God presented him throughout his life. William accepted his physical struggles with Grace and believed that God put him in the hospital on so many occasions with the sole purpose of comforting the sick and bringing people to Christ. He would pray with and for every person that crossed his path and during his last days, his family was comforted by the many stories of people whose lives were touched by his presence.
William (Bill) was preceded in death by his mother Arta (Jean) Foster and was the loving husband of Linda, father of Larry (Danielle), Tina, Kelly (Ben), and Rose (Dean), Grandfather of Jocelyn, Mason, Alexis, Colleen, Jazmine, Kera, Mikaila, Kelsey, Elena, Lila, Cora, and Vera, and brother of Arthur (Bonnie) Foster. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Calvary Missionary Church (1361 Giddings Road Pontiac, MI 48340.
