William "Randy" Rand Davidson

William Rand Davidson, lovingly known as “Randy” to his family and friends, was born on Tuesday, March 23rd, 1954, at 8:46 a.m. at the former Osteopathic Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. He was the youngest of three children born to Lloyd and Delores. Randy was a selfless, humble, and kindhearted man whose warmth and spirit touched everyone who knew him. In his youth, he traveled throughout the US and eventually found himself on the beautiful beaches of Maui, Hawaii. He spent several years there and later worked as a salesman for Papillon Hawaiian Helicopters tour company. Randy helped others experience breathtaking Maui from above—sharing views of emerald mountains, cascading waterfalls, and the island’s stunning landscape. He would describe this time as one of the most fulfilling and memorable experiences of his life. In 2021, Randy returned to Michigan with his family, where he spent his final working years with Eternal Security Services as a Guard.

Randy is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Rosie; his daughters, Rachael (Joel) and Chelsea (Cody); and his seven cherished grandchildren: Jaron, Carson, Mason, Leila, Avalia, Cadence, and Logan. He is also survived by his brother, Michael, and his sister, Deborah. Randy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home at 111 E. Flint St., Lake Orion from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, April 18th, 2026.
