William Thomas Sweet

William Thomas Sweet; of Lake Orion; age 68; passed away on May 3, 2022.  Bill was the beloved husband of Andrea Lynn Sweet for 26 years; loving father of Andrew Sweet, Amie (David) von Knorring and Amanda (David) Gulas; loving Papa of Collin, Madalynn, Matthew, Allison, Adam, Emaleigh, Logan, Miles, Kayleigh, Andrea and Tianna; dear brother of Patricia (Leslie) Leithead, James (Amy) Sweet and Donald (Patricia) Sweet.  Bill was preceded in death by his parents George and Mary Sweet.  Bill was a kind, gentle and thoughtful man who always made everyone feel special.  He was a selfless person who did everything for others and never asked for anything in return.  He loved being a Papa to his eleven grandchildren who could "do no wrong" in Papa's eyes.  His grandchildren were his pride and joy.  He also dearly loved his two dogs Zeke and Buddy.  Bill was a dedicated fan of the Woodward Dream Cruise and looked forward to it every year.  He enjoyed putting model cars together and collecting trains, Match Box and Hot Wheel cars. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and everyone who knew him.  A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 7pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends for a visitation from 5pm until the time of service.
