Willie Walter Knox; of Pontiac; June 11, 2011; age 67. Retired Pontiac Motors foreman, over 30 years of employment. Loving husband of JoAnn Knox for 46 years; treasured son of Ida M. Knox; beloved father of Willie James and Walter (Shelby) Knox, and Christina (Quintin) Hardy; and cherished grandfather of five. Preceded in death by his father Walter and brother John A. Knox. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Johnson Memorial COGIC, 252 Wessen Street, Pontiac. The family will receive friends from 12 -1 p.m. at the church. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, 46 Williams Street. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery. Reflections may be shared by visiting www.sparksgriffin.com.
