Willie Mae.Carter; December 17, 2008; of Pontiac; age 69. Beloved wife of Johnnie Carter. Loving mother of Maxine Mccants, the late Vanessa Dinkins and 7 step-children. 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Willie is survived by her sisters Ester Hood, Julia Lawrence and brother Henry Edwards. Willie was a member of Door of Faith Christian Church for many years and will be missed by a host of family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Door of Faith Christian Church, 511 S. Sanford St. with Reverend Earl Crump officiating. Family hour 10.30 a m .until time of service. The family will receive friends on Sunday 2-4 p.m. and Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p .m .at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks- Griffin Funeral Home.
