Wilma June McVean; passed away on March 15th, 2013 at the age of 91. She was born on June 16, 1921 to Ethel and Wendel Willis in Pontiac Township. Wilma was the beloved wife for 46 years to the late Edward McVean. She is the loving mother of Karon (Donald) Meyer; grandmother of Mark and Michael (Cristina) Meyer; and great grandmother of Kyrsten, Joshua, Anna and Ava. Wilma is also survived by her sister in law Joyce Willis; and nieces Wendy (Brian) Sylvain and Nicole (Ronald) Miller. She was preceded in death by her brother Raymond Willis. Wilma worked some with her husband Ed, who owned and operated W.D. Willis and Sons Excavating Co. Together they enjoyed traveling and spending winters down in Florida. She enjoyed playing the organ, her oil paintings and her collections of dolls and Dicken's Village. Wilma was also an amazing cook and loved to decorate her home around Christmas with her collection of ornaments. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
