Thomas S. Ziembovic; 77, passed away peacefully at home 7 years ago of February 22, 2014. He was born on June 21, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to Thomas S. Ziembovic and Nellie Polowski.
Louise M. Ziembovic; 79, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 18, 2021. She was born on July 31, 1941 in Lake Orion, Michigan to Anthony and Bernice Barnowsky.
Tom and Louise were preceded in death by both their parents, their son Michael and her brothers John, Fred and Jim. They were married at a very young age and Tom soon joined the Army. He became a Sargent and built communication towers in Europe and Africa, ending his military career in Arizona. Shortly after, Louise and Tom moved back to Michigan and raised their sons. Louise worked many years at a nursing home while Tom worked building elevators. Eventually they moved to Florida to both work and run a small resort in Englewood.
Tom and Louise loved their social life with many lifelong friends they made in Florida. Tom loved to deep sea fish and would have very large fish fry’s with their friends. They both had a love for ballroom and polka dancing. They had many dogs and other animals, and Tom enjoyed landscaping and taking care of his plants. Eventually they moved back to Michigan once they had their first and only granddaughter Zoe. They settled in Hillsdale, Michigan and created a life there with many friends. Once Tom passed away, Louise moved in with her son and daughter in law to be cared for. Tom and Louise leave behind their son, Thomas A. Ziembovic, daughter in law Liz Ziembovic, granddaughter Zoe and their beloved dog Mia. Louise is also survived by her brother George (Debbie) Barnowsky, sister Martha (Joe) Jenkins, brother Joe Barnowsky and many nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.
Tom and Louise were loved by many family and friends and will be greatly missed and always be loved.
