It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Joseph Keller, beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
Paul was preceded in death by his loving mother, Mary.
He is survived by his father, Jim; his devoted wife, Vivian; and his three children: Tara (Gerrit), Kate (Michael), and Jesse (Kiana); and his siblings, Bill (Loretta), Tom (Sue), and Sharon (Steve). He was a proud grandfather to Lincoln, Jade, Henry, Sofia, and a grandson soon to arrive.
Paul will be remembered for the comfort of his presence, the depth of his love for family, and the warmth of his unforgettable hugs. He cherished time outdoors and found joy both on the golf course and in building a treehouse for his grandchildren — a lasting symbol of his devotion and playfulness. He also delighted in the simple pleasures of life, from getting lost in a good mystery novel to making everyone laugh with a perfectly timed, silly movie quote. Paul had a gift for putting life into perspective, always reminding us that challenges could be met with calm and grace. He believed deeply that things would work out, and that peace could be found even in the storm. His quiet wisdom was a source of strength to all who knew him, and his legacy of love, laughter, and light will continue to guide us.
We invite family and friends to join us in celebrating Paul’s life with visitation to be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 3pm-7pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home in Lake Orion. At 6pm the family will share in a Eulogy of Paul. Funeral services will follow on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Church in Lake Orion, with the family receiving friends from 10:30am until the time of Mass. Memorials made in honor of Paul may be made to the Right to Life of Michigan.
